Sacred Drum Creation is a journey of craft, connection, and ceremony. In this hands-on workshop with Julie Rainwater, you’ll build your own hand drum using traditional techniques and intentional care. As you work with natural materials and sacred rhythm, you’ll invite healing, spirit, and ancestral wisdom into every beat. This experience is more than a creative project—it’s a ritual of presence, a reconnection to inner guidance, and a celebration of community through sound.

Sacred Drum Creation
Drumming has been used for thousands of years as a sacred practice to foster healing, connection, and transformation. In this immersive two-day experience, you’ll create your own hand drum from natural materials while honoring the spirit of the drum and the deep rhythms that live within us all.
Guided by Julie Rainwater, this workshop blends traditional drum-making techniques with spiritual intention. You’ll be supported step-by-step in crafting your drum and beater, with all materials provided. As you work, you’ll connect with the deeper purpose of drumming as a bridge between body, mind, and soul—a tool for grounding, awakening, and accessing altered states of consciousness.
The experience doesn’t stop with creation. You’ll also explore foundational rhythms, techniques for using your drum for healing and meditation, and participate in a sacred drum circle to activate your new instrument in community. Whether you’re new to drumming or returning to it, this class offers a profound opportunity to reclaim your rhythm and awaken the spirit of sound in your life.

About Julie Rainwater
Julie Rainwater is a gifted artist, energy worker, and teacher who walks in harmony with the rhythms of the Earth. Deeply rooted in nature-based wisdom, she blends creativity, healing, and ceremony to help others reconnect with spirit, community, and their authentic expression. Her work is guided by reverence for the land, the elements, and the sacred presence within all living things.
Formally trained in Reiki, Healing Touch, and Shamanism, Julie has over 20 years of experience in holding space for personal and collective transformation. As a Human Potentialist, she is devoted to inspiring “Soul Shine” in others—nurturing growth through intention, ritual, and meaningful connection. During the retreat, she will offer energy healing sessions and guide participants through the creation of their own sacred drum, awakening ancestral rhythm and inner wisdom.
